I am a wife, a mother of two wonderful children, a full-time research scientist, and a part-time knitting designer and fiber artist. I reside in sunny Florida where knitting with wool becomes very interesting, but I do it nonetheless.

We left careers in the film industry in Los Angeles and moved to the NE Georgia mountains to raise fiber animals. We have Shetland and Corriedale sheep, angora goats and llamas. Self taught, for the most part, fibre artist who enjoys spinning(wheel, drop spindle, navajo spindle and spindlitis), weaving (4 harness, triangle and tapestry), knitting (mostly lacework like Orenburg and Heirloom), crocheting, tatting, needlepoint (crewel, embroidery, needle felting), natural dyeing....anything fibre. At one time I raised angora goats so I am partial to mohair but now have scaled down to angora rabbits and am learning angora fibre spinning, otherwise I rely on yearly SAFF adventures for my other yarn need and fibre supplies.
